At the end of every season, the cheerleaders vote for the Veteran and Rookie of the Year awards. This year’s recipients were genuinely honored and touched when the announcement was made and they were given their awards during the Cheerleader Banquet.
Veteran of the Year - Mariela
“I am overwhelmed and humbled at the same time to receive this award, even more so because it was voted on by my peers. We have had an amazing season, and this keeps me motivated to set higher standards for myself and the squad each year.”
Rookie of the Year - Nikki
“I am completely honored to be selected from my team. It was such a fun opportunity to experience cheering on the Dolphins with all of them! This award being given to me is a reflection of the leadership on our squad. Without this amazing group of veterans I would not have progressed to where I am now, developing my talents.”
